Systems Integrators Can Now Wire Directly to Industry Standard I/O Racks

The new IDC50-TB26 Interface plugs directly into the 50-pin header of 4, 8, 16 and 24 position industry standard input/output (I/O) racks, eliminating the need for mass termination connectors and ribbon cables. It provides the capability for Systems Integrators to wire directly to their I/O Racks during research and development, system testing, and troubleshooting. This is much easier than the usual practice of splitting out ribbon cable conductors and attaching clip leads to those fine-gauge wires. The Brentek IDC50-TB26 can also be deployed in systems requiring discreet signal wiring to any industry-standard I/O rack that only comes with a 50-pin header.
The 26-position terminal block provides convenient, reliable wiring access to Vcc, Common, and up to 24 SIGNAL lines. The terminal block accepts wire sizes from 24 AWG to 16 AWG.
Common applications requiring direct I/O module control include machine controls, control panels and systems, as well as I/O testing and troubleshooting applications. The unit's PC board is conveniently marked with the I/O Module "position" of each terminal, making hook-up foolproof and de-bugging easy.
